Chapter 13 northern district of Ohio

    Hello,

Here is some information about my chapter 13 case:
    Date filed: May 2020
    started payments: June 2020
    Date confirmed: August 2020
    Discharge: TBD

The NDC website has shown "pending audit" since the early part of July.
does anyone with experience in the northern district of Ohio have an estimated timeline on the notice to stop wage garnisment, then the discharge?

I contacted my attorney and they were marginally helpful. (Told me just to wait it out) like I have any other choice. 😤

They said "maybe 2 months" but 2 months from when? Is it reasonable to expect my 2 month clock started when NDC changed to "pending audit"?

This is so frustrating...I wish I knew 60 months meant way more than 60 months because I live in a state that has backwards processes involving chapter 13! /rant off.

Unless it says About To Close or Completed, you are not done. I would, personally, expect to be in the plan through end of August 2025. The audit is just to make sure you have actually completed the plan payments before it goes to Plan Completed or Completed. It may actually flip back to Open. The audit and closing portion of a Chapter 13 is long and complex and can take months.

I'll update as the status moves forward for future reference to others.

This is from one of my older posts (to a thread that you commented or liked).
