Trying to sign up on National Data Center thingy...

Hi, all! I tried signing up on the Chapter 13 National Data Center thingy last night, but I really couldn't get beyond the second step.

It presents three questions on the second page, and you're supposed to select the items that are correct for your case. Creditor, My Address, and Trustee Name. Well, NONE of these three items contained any of the correct information! I thought maybe I'd entered the case number incorrectly, so I go back and start again. Get to the second page again, and all three question's option are incorrect again. And get this: they all contained DIFFERENT info this time, even tho none of the information on the first screen (name, case #, ssn #) had changed!

Is there a trick to getting this to work, or do you have to wait until after the confirmation hearing, er what?

You're trying to log into http://www.13network.com/ , right?

First you need to ensure your trustee participates on the site - not all of them do. Scroll down to check that your trustee is listed under your state.

If your trustee is there, then to see your case information, you have to get a login ID and password from your trustee's office first. Click on your trustee's name, then use the Authorized Users link (or something similar) to get to the next screen to request your log in ID and password.

It was 8 months after my plan was confirmed before it showed up on NDC. I guess some trustees are slow to get started. Just keep trying.

Yeah, 13datacenter.com is the one I tried signing up with. The other one (noted above) my trustee isn't a member of. Maybe it just takes a while for the info to go thru the system...

Edit: well, it looks like the Trustee in my area takes part in the Epic system, so I have to go thru that one to check up on my payments, disbursements, claims, etc. There's a nifty detail report on there that lists all creditors I've filed against, whether they've submitted a claim or not, the amount, etc. Very handy report! I'll be keeping an eye on this report until January (the final date for filing any claims).
