Mortgage
We have 1 year left on our Chapter 13 with about 3K left to pay off. Does anyone know a mortgage lender that will work with you for a mortgage? Possibly can include payoff amount and atty fees w/mortgage?

Several of our current members have paid off a Ch 13 early by getting a second mortgage to pay off the remainder of their plan and have posted their experiences. Please give the Search feature here in the forum a try to read those accounts.Originally posted by Sampystyle View Post
Has your lawyer requested a final payoff figure from your trustee? Has your trustee approved the early payoff? Please be aware that an early payoff amount is typically higher than just adding up the remaining months you have left.

06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !
10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
