It was not that bad, I was rather surprised. The trustee was so nice and kind to everyone in the room. He explained to us all the questions that he would be asking, asked us to answer loud and honest, then told us in a few minutes this would all be over with for the most part. He asked about my income and even adjusted it down! His paper work did not show my vehicle or both empolyers that I have, I corrected him when he asked about those things, my lawyer was there and was able to quickly open his file and show where it had indeed been turned in correct, then joked that the trustee could just go ahead with his paperwork if he wanted. They both laughed and the trustee said we should, if we make an error, then looked at the attorney and rolled his eyes! They both laughed again.

I felt so much better when all this was over, I still know that things might change but I feel confident that the trustee in our case is reasonable! And that is a world of relief. As he finished his questioning of each couple he wished them good luck in the new financial future!

So glad to hear that things went well during your 341, daisey! Now you can relax a bit and wait to see if anything happens on the creditor front over the next few months. Sounds like you have a good lawyer with a good relationship with the trustee - that's the best thing to have in a Ch 13! Keep us posted - enjoy the rest of the day!
