    objection to confirmation

    Our hearing was rescheduled due to waiting for the claims bar date which is today 4/23/07 then the hearking was for tommorrow 4/24/07 and i looked on pacer and this is what they say:

    Hearing Cancelled; Settled per "name of trustee staff" for name of trustee's office.

    Looks like your in the clear......I would call before going tomorrow just to make sure you don't miss a hearing.

      I just got done talking to my lawyer, the hearing has been canceled and it's been settled. the payments will not be increased since there is enough money...it will go according to plan. the only thing is, we need to go in to sign an adendum changing the language of the bankruptcy not having anything to do with us or the payments but has to do with how the trustee is to pay the creditors. the trustee wanted that changed. so we have to sign to change the way he pays them. I myself have NO problem signing anything at all ...i just want this over with

          Fantastic news, QS! Any time one of us can dodge a big trustee or creditor objection bullet in Ch 13 is cause to celebrate big time! We're really happy for you. Now it's just keep under the trustee radar and keep making your payments on time every month. Boring, predictable, steady, no surprises....that's the way we 13ers like it!

            Isn't that the truth!!!! I just told my attorney yesterday that the trustee and I have a great relationship.......He doesn't bother me and I make my payments every month. That got a laugh out of my attorney.

            The best advice that I can give is to stay way below the trustee's radar and make your payments on time every month.
