Notice of Intention to Pay Claims

I received in the mail today a "Notice of Intention to Pay Claims and Motion to Disallow Secured Claims." Exactly what is this notice? I filed chapter 13 last summer and my case was confirmed in December.

Does anyone know what this is means?

I received in the mail today a "Notice of Intention to Pay Claims and Motion to Disallow Secured Claims." Exactly what is this notice?

I did some online research and what it appears to mean is the your trustee is starting to pay your creditors that filed claims, and he/she is making a request of the court to "disallow" (not pay) at least one of your secured claims.

I'm not a lawyer, so be sure to check with your Ch 13 lawyer immediately if you haven't already to discuss the notice you received today and what it means to your case. Keep us posted about what you find out, ok? Hang in there - it may mean nothing bad for you at all.
