    Need to find mortgage broker/company

I am currently 35 months into 48 month plan. After reading many post about early payoff, I plan on refinancing after 36 months. Problem is I need to know where to start, as far as finding a mortgage company that will work in my behalf. I am not desperate, so I know I don't have to just take the first offer.
I have waited and paid each month for 35 months. Anyone have any info that they can offer without violating any rules of this forum. All is appreciated.

The problem with finding someone to advise you is people come and go here.

There have been folks who refi'd out of BK, but don't post here any more.

Here's a link to a thread of one:

JMan refi'd out. There've been several others as well. But they don't post here any more.

I believe if you go back thru JMan's posts, they got a flyer in the mail. JMan almost tossed it in the garbage but happened to call on a lark. And it all worked out.

MTG_BANKER_OH has posted some info on this subject. You might look at his old posts too.

If you have a bk lawyer, ask him/her to contact your trustee to request the plan payoff amount needed and get permission to pay out early. If you filed without a lawyer, you can contact the trustee yourself to make the requests. Once you know what amount is needed, then you can go to your mortgage company or another lender to see what kind of refinancing is possible using the equity on your home or other asset. You are likely to get bad rates while you are in Ch 13, but since you show three years of ontime payments to the trustee, they will be better than they could be. At least you can finish your plan early. Keep us posted on what you find out - good luck!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

I'm in a chapter 13 and on a humbug contacted Nationpoint Mortgage(found on the web) yesterday to see about a refi buyout. I talked to an online rep who told me they do them but your LTV(Loan to Value) cannot exceed 85%. He told me you need to have on time payments to the Trustee for at least 12 months and he did ask me my FICO Score. Once you get a payoff from your trustee, you may want to contact them. I have heard they are an ok company. By the way, I was looking to refi last year and I contacted JMan. He gave me the name of the company he used, but they were not able to help me. My payoff was too much at the time. Hope this helps.
