Okay, I filed for a chater 13 in 2004. When I filed, I was to pay the trustee (taken directly from my check). I reaffirmed on house and car.

So, does anyone know why my experian credit report would state that the current status as "unpaid balance reported as a loss by credit grantor" It also says that I OWE a past due balance of6,276 and was late 90+ days FIFTEEN times???

Do you think this is inaccurate from the CRA or from the card dealer?? Or is it possible that my trustee did NOT pay them?

Oh, and just FTR, I converted to a chapter 7 this year. So, it shouldn't report any balance..... or should it?

Have you disputed this with Experian yet? Is this same information showing on your other two credit reports as well?

Since you were in Ch 13, the lender cannot use the trustee's irregular mortgage payments as an excuse to charge you late fees and show late payments on your credit report. Contact your lawyer immediately to see what he/she thinks of this situation.
