What is the difference between
Proof of Claim Due Date 02/13/2008 and
Obj. for Discharge Due Date 01/14/2008? I'm clueless. Which of these terms equates to the time that a creditor decides to put their two cents in. I know that some people cross their fingers hoping that a creditor doesn't respond...but which of these dates do I go by?

Proof of claim Due Date = last date your creditors can file a claim to be included in your case.

The Proof of Claim form is a signed statement describing the payment obligations owed by the person who filed bankruptcy. The form must be completed and submitted to the Bankruptcy court by the ‘Deadline to File a Proof of Claim’, which for government entities, is 180 days date from the filing date shown on the notification document and 90 days for everyone else. If the Proof of Claim is not submitted by this date, no money may be paid to the creditor from the Bankruptcy Court. A Proof of Claim must be filed even if the filer listed the payment obligation when filing the bankruptcy.

Objections for Discharge Due Date = last date your creditors can file an objection with the court stating that your debt to them should not be discharged. The creditor has to prove that you should not be allowed to discharge your debt to them, and frankly this isn't that easy to do.
