    Now the time starts ticking $1700 a month is my payment and it feels so good to finally make it this far
    Started in Chapt 13 Switched to Chapt 7 Discharged 2009 Dec.........Filed New Chapt 13 in 2010 to deal with new surgery bill and stripped second mortgage! The story continues

      Thank you maam I am looking forward to getting this 5 years over. I will stick around and help others on the forum and share what I know.. Thanks to all that have offered advice and guidance....

        The freedom you will feel as your creditors stop hounding you and you no longer have to worry about garnishments and liens is incredible!! Enjoy the feeling - you've earned it in spades!! You've taken the first step on your journey back to financial sanity - good for you!

        01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
        09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
        06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
        08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

        10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
        Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

          Welcome to the club. Chapter 13 isn't so bad, once the dust settles. Good Luck and I hope your journey through Chapter 13 Land is smooth and uneventful.

                If you're getting calls at 5AM, you should talk to an attorney. There is a law that creditors can only call between the hours of 8AM and 9PM local time. So if you are on the East coast, they can only call between 8AM and 9PM EST time.
