    I am freaking out!!

It has been 35 months since my husband filed. Today in the mail i receive a notice from our mortgage company for notice of appearance and request for notices. What is that about, we are not and never have been behind on our mortgage, I see that they even sent a copy to our county auditor. Help!!

Okay, I am calm now. If you can believe this, I emailed my attorney and she emailed me back within five minutes saying this was normal and then I emailed her saying thanks and anything I need to worry about and she emailed me back within 2 minutes to say that I am good. Oh Lord, I lucked out in the attorney department, 35 months later and she is still taking care of us. If anyone needs a good attorney in the columbus, ohio area, let me know.

Basically, they want to know copies of any paperwork, correspondence that have to do with my case. I would have thought that they would have filed that years ago and not 4 months before our hopefully discharge. That is why it threw me. Darn, I will probably be back to checking PACER again, I had gotten out of that nasty habit!!

Attorneys are like doctors. They are all different; some more busy than others and all different personalities and specialties. Some email and call quickly or get their staff to call you back with the answers or some want you to come in and some don't respond at all. Just like doctors, word of mouth gets their names around for referrals. That's how we got ours and we were never sorry for one minute.
