I have to agree with MOMof3, money DOES NOT make any difference if your child comes out ok or not. Parenting is the major key, not money.

I would not suggest waiting 60 months until you have kids, I would much rather have less money and a more stressed time now. Then have to contend with higher risks of birth defects at the higher age.

As they say, there is no price tag on good health.

I'm having a baby in January and most likely will be put into a 13 next month. The good news is that when I have the baby I will be able to convert to a 7! I say go for it!

I wish we would be able to convert to a 7 if we have a child.

Who knows what the future holds. I truly hope that we are blessed with a child. I would never forgive myself if what we have done to ourselves with money prevented us from being parents.

Since I'm in a 5 year plan, I'll be here for a very long time and keep everyone current.

My wife and I discussed...no kids til this is over. We'd never be able to do anything if we had one now. We want to be able to do SOME things, like travel or go out to dinner etc...
We probably will decide not to have one at all but know we're not ready right now...even though we're older! LOL

After reading some of your posts, I have to say thank goodness you aren't having kids anytime soon!
