Do all rustees do an audit at the end?

We have 10 months left in our 13. I was wondering do all trustees do audits at the end, and if so what does an audit entail?
We were asked for our tax reports the 1st year but not the second.

I could be wrong but I think the audit is simply the trustee verifying that all plan payments were made and disbursed correctly. Hopefully someone will more experience will chime in

It is part of the process at the closing of every Chapter 13. After you send in your last payment, hopefully you will receive a letter from your Trustee explaining what is going to occur over the coming months for your Discharge. The Trustee sends out any remaining payments to the creditors along with documents that need to be signed and returned to the Trustee by the creditors. Depending upon how long it takes all creditors to respond back can determine how long it will take to get your discharge. The Trustee ensures all t's are crossed when it is all done and you receive your Discharge. We received that letter in mid-June of 2006 and our Discharge was dated at the end of August 2006.

Have to chime in with a hardy "good for you!"

It's reported that only 30% complete a C13 and receive their final discharge!

Congrats on almost being able to "see over the top" of the hill. It's not easy, for sure.
