    Help...Divorce

I am hoping that someone might be able to give me some insight into what might happen.

    Here's the situation:

Filed Chapter 13 March 2006 in Texas was married at the time to an unemployed spouse who was not included in the bankruptcy

Divorce will be finalized in September sometime. Now we have a son and I will have primary custody.

I have received an annual cost of living increase each year so my income is slightly higher than when I filed.

Does anyone have an idea of what will happen when I deliver the divorce decree to my attorney/trustee?

Will this affect my monthly payments? Will they increase/decrease?

I greatly appreciate any and all insight!

when this happened to me, my attorney told me that all the trustee cared about was that the payments still came in on schedule. So since you were the filer in this case, I bet it does not matter at all. You will continue in your bk just as you had. GL
