I think I'm on there with an overdrawn checking accounting, which will go into our plan, how did you go about getting it removed?Filed August 09, all payments made as of July 12th, 2013.....Waiting on final audit and discharge!Comment

I didn't do anything. They were informed of my BK through my attorney at my initial filing. I didn't call them or anything. I just ordered my report for my own records so I could know what I was up against in getting it off so I could open a "free" checking account and when I got it in the mail yesterday, it had no reported accounts. I was able to open a free checking account with WaMu and I will be closing my $10 a month Chase (a-hole) 2nd chance checking account.

Same thing happened with me. I've been in a CH 13 for a year and a half. Have moved to another state and went to open a new bank account. ChexSystems showed me having an overdraft charged off account. After checking my records, that account was included in my bankruptcy. So I contacted ChexSystems and filled out paperwork... sent it in.. and in a couple of weeks got a letter saying that the account had been removed from their system due to me filing Ch 13 Bankruptcy.Filed: Feb 15, 2007

When I applied for Bank Account and was denied, I received a notice through mail from ChexSystems on why I was denied and given a Consumer ID number.
I then called their Bankruptcy Dept at 800-934-5458
And with that Consumer ID number they told me what to do to get this taken off.Filed: Feb 15, 2007
