Question on inheritance and Chap 13

Hello,
I am in the midst of a Chapter 13 and my mom recently passed away. I have not received any proceeds from her estate and honestly don't know if I will. I am paying 100% into my plan so that all creditors will be paid in full. If I receive any monies or property will this go towards my chapter 13 plan or is it outside of the 180 day window I keep reading about? Any help would be great.

The 180 day window does not apply as to a Chapter 13 - an inheritance in a Chapter 13 needs to be reported to your attorney if it happens the day of filing or the day before yoiur Discharge. Since you are 100%, I don't have the full answer to your situation but I would definately report the situation to your attorney and he/she will advise you accordingly as to your situation. We went through a similar situation as to my father-in-law passing during our Chapter 13 and the Trustee took part of my husband's inheritance. But we were not 100%, we were 64%.
