I owe 608k on my home, and the first is 300k. my attorney had the home appraised for 285k. I wanted to lien strip my second but with my credit cards lumped in with the discharged mortgages I'm over the limit of unsecured for a chapter 13. He is suggesting a chapter 20. sounds like were going to be doing a chapter 7 then maybe a 13 to remove the liens. i want to keep the house without the extra liens.

Were behind on all mortgages, the Attorney is modifying the first on are behalf and once were current the plan is chapter 7 then maybe a 13 to remove the liens if they don't just release them
