apt rent allowance, car ins in chap 13

Can someone please shed some light on the apt rent allowance in bk 13 case?
According to the IRS site, about $400 per month, including utility. Is this true? Anybody had a hard time leasing an apt after bk13?
Besides, what happens to car ins after filing bk13. How much more do they increase the premium?
    Thanks!

As to your car insurance question, if the state in which you reside allows insurance (credit) profiling, there is a good chance your premiums can increase when your policy renews. If you are a long-term policyholder, you may not be affected at all. If your state does not allow insurance (credit) profiling and your rates increase after you file and when you renew, you can contact your state Department of Insurance and have the matter investigated if you believe the increase was due to your BK filing and your credit reports.

      apt rent allowance - website

      Thanks Flamingo!

Am I looking at the right site for the rent allowance?

      Non-Mortgage Mortgage/Rent

The allowance under Mortgage/Rent is a lot higher than the Non-Mortgage, and is reasonable. I guess I am not so sure which one applies if I am renting an apt.

      Thanks again.
