Your rent will be included as a part of your expenses on the Ch 13 forms when you file. However, you are 99.9% likely to continue to make your rent payments yourself directly to your landlord.

The only payments that most trustees usually make for the filer are paying back mortgage or other asset arrears, paying back taxes owed, and paying the confirmed % to your non-secured creditors. There are always exceptions, so ask your lawyer (if you've retained one) or ask the 3-4 experienced bk lawyers you are going to interview during your time with them.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

We pay our landlord as usual. You include the amount that you pay in your expenses.

You can pay it on your own.

      341 - 2/5/09
