Median income changes will take effect on March 15, according to the USDOJ website. Lets keep our fingers crossed, I dont want to be in a 5 year plan, but if so, so be it.

I'm kind of worried that with the sinking economy, these numbers may be lower when they update, not higher.

The DOJ tends to change the median income and other required filing tables about every six months to a year. There's been no consistent pattern I've seen over the past three years - sometimes the amounts are up, sometimes they are down. They don't tend to vary much - a few hundred dollars more or less for income. Doubtful the changes will affect 99% of filers very much if at all.

I guess I have to find a way to take unpaid day off or something, but wouldn't that be considered suspicious?

I went from borderline 36 month, to indefinite, the median changed from 59k to 62k.

The company I work for keeps offering us off by permission. I'm thinking about taking some here and there to decrease income.
