Got an email from attorney's paralegal

Hi All,

Our adjourned confirmation hearing is coming up May 7th. I sent an email to my attorney one month ago asking if anything was going on we should be aware of. Well, today we receive a response to the email from his paralegal.

She basically said thanks for our patience and that the trustees paralegal told her the plan looks good and the payment won't change.

What do you guys think of that?

I think that you are very likely ok and will be confirmed. Most Ch 13 trustees have paralegals and other legal assistants who do most (if not all) of the actual Ch 13 Means Test, Schedules, and proposed 13 plan reviews. They make notes for the trustee if they see anything amiss so the trustee is aware of it.

Sounds like your plan didn't raise any issues for the trustee's paralegal, so your rescheduled confirmation is likely to proceed smoothly and your plan payment will end up being what was proposed.

Boy we hope it is this simple. It all seems to easy. Other than the mortgage companies adjournment they got at the 1st confirmation hearing.

I have posted our plan several times here and there were a few parts of it that some respected board members said might not fly.

My attorney was adament that it would fly. Let's hope he is right.
