    BK lawyer in west Tenn

Does anyone on here know a BK lawyer in west Tenn that is good? I would like to find one in Jackson, TN. I don't want to have to meet with every lawyer in the phone book trying to find a good one. Thanks for any help.

Call the Clerk of the BK Court in your district. They will give you a list of the attorneys they like dealing with--i.e. the ones who are prepared, courteous, and prompt. This will weed out the attorneys who are late, lazy and obnoxious.

Chances are if these people are late, lazy and obnoxious to the representative of the BK Court, they da****ed well will treat you, the client, the same way.

    Good luck~~~

Peevee, please send this information to the original poster by private message. We don't post lawyer names and evaluations of his or her competency (or incompetency ) here in the open forum.

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

hmm I suggested a forum member contact me about this same topic, but he pm'ed me saying a moderator told him not to talk about attorney or lawfirm names via a private message. I wonder why they told him that, because I thought it was allowed, all I wanted to do was offer him my help about the attorneys I interviewed.

Hmmmm....all our mods know it's fine for members to share lawyer information via PM, so I don't know why one would tell a member it isn't ok.

Putting the possibility hat on, perhaps the member misunderstood the frequently posted request to not post lawyer names or evaluations on the open forum and thought the ban extended to PM as well? Or perhaps he was trying to find an acceptable excuse instead of telling you directly he didn't really want or need your help???
