I filed 13 5 years ago, and Im at a point where Im thinking I cant afford this house. with values down, I still owe more than its worth, I DID NOT RE-AFFIRM should i be able to walk away? with declining property values its worth less than I owe. the mortgage company does not report, they tried once , but I disputed and havent heard a peep since

If you did not reaffirm your mortgage (or mortgages), then yes, you can surrender the house and walk away owing nothing.

its discharged, I think this will help me in the long run I hate the maintenance parts and always feeling behindComment
