    Wage attachement in less than a month


    Wow , cant believe how fast they attached my wages. Like I said before everyone wants my money !!!!! Oh, and the best part is now I am overpaid on my bk Boy I could have used that extra money right now. I sent in a payment because I didnt want to mess it up and be late and get discharged or something ... Filed 10-21-09 and paycheck 11-20-09 attached...

    Most trustee staffs are quite efficient at getting the money rolling in as quickly as possible

    If your trustee is using 13DataCenter and/or 13Network, set up one or both now. You want to be sure that your trustee credits your account with both payments.

    Also ask your lawyer if the extra payment can be used for your next month's payment. I don't think this will be allowed, but it never hurts to ask

    06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !
    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED

      Yea, its weird because even though they took it directly out of my paycheck its not showing up on the site yet ???...

        Your payroll department actually takes the money out of your paycheck, just like any other garnishment, cuts a check and sends it to the trustee. Allowing mailing and processing time, you would not see the payment right away. It should show up on your account ledger in approximately 7 to 10 days.

          Thanks for the info... I didnt realize a actual check had to mailed... I thought it would be automatically deposited to the trustee...

            Some of my deduction payments don't show up for 10 days after my paycheck. Some take two weeks. Depends when the trustee's office updates the Data Center.

            Two weeks after I made the inital plan payment with a money order, I had a payment deducted. Just gets me that much closer to the end I guess.
            Filed July 2009. Discharged 08/08/2014. Awaiting closing. We made it !!!! Woo-hoo!
