    Filing taxes after BK

Not sure if this is a stupid question or not but now that I have filed do I need to do anything different when I do my taxes. I have a easy return and use turbo tax. Or now do I need to go to HR block or some other pro. Thanks in advance.

I filed last year and I just did mine on Turbo Tax as well but there was nothing different or special about it because of my BK.
      CH13 - filed 30 JUL 09, $1521 @ 60 mos (100% payback)
      Done!!! - 01 Jul 2014 I'm free!! Discharged 9/23/14!

The only extra thing you may need to pay attention to is if one of your creditors sends you a 1099 form after forgiving your debt. If that happens, then you send the 1099 along with special form 982 to the IRS so you won't have to pay the tax on what was forgiven because you filed bankruptcy - it's the first box to check on the 982 form. Otherwise, it's your taxes as usual after filing.

The only thing that changed for me is that now I give the trustee any refund I might receive!
I have always used Tax Cut software and filed electronically, figured it was worth the expense to get my refund quickly. Now I file paper returns through snail mail!

Thanks for the answers! I was told that I get to keep up to 2000 dollars. I did my taxes online and I am getting back 1300 so I get to keep it all. I e-filed and should have my refund next week.
