Will doctor's still see my family?

I ower lots of medical bills. I still owe bills from when my daughter was born premature in Jan. 2008 and from her heart catherization procedure in Jan. 2009 to fix a PDA heart mumur. I also still owe money to my doctors who delievered her. In addition, I owe her local pediatrician about $400. I probably owe about $3000 all together just for my daughter. I owe smaller bills for myself, my husband and my son. Will all of our doctors still see us after we file Chapter 13? Can they refuse to see us because of debt discharges?

that's a hard on to call...we need a 7 not a 13...and i was still undergoing doctors care with, at the time 3 surgeries still pending.

we found 2 would still work with us, but there were 3 others that would not since they felt we still owed money. i would talk straight with the office manager to see what can we worked out. that way you know exactly where you stand.

i hope your daughters doing well......and if they will NOT work with you, there are many other great doctors out there....it was hard for us to change, but in the long run we think we actually found better doctors..

    best of luck!

Thanks for your reply. My daughter is just perfect now. She was born at 31 weeks weighing 3lbs 7oz. with the PDA murmur. The PDA was fixed when she was 1 and now her heart is normal and she should never have any problems because of it. She will be 3 in Janaury and weighs about 38 pounds now and is tall for her age so you would never know she was a preemie. She also is already completely potty trained and talks nonstop so she has no delays at all. She's my half-million dollar miracle girl. Luckily, I have good teacher insurance or else I would have to worrying about hundreds of thousands of dollars of doctor bills.

if that's the case...LIST the doctors and go change if she doesn't require their specific services...we had to list over 200k worth of medical expenses...
