indy4wins - as I mentioned above in my original posting, my 54th and final payment was posted to 13DataCenter on 8/21/2012. My case was noted as "completed" and "closed" effective 9/06/2012. I received the official letter from the trustee to stop sending payments several days ago - I do not remember the day exactly - and I received the $311 refund check in the mail this very day, 9/26/2012 (the check is dated 9/20/2012).
Things are moving along nicely. Debtors should contact their attorneys near the end of their Chapter 13 plans to ensure that the trustee does not overlook their case. The debtor must sign the documents with respect to finishing the financial management course and domestic support obligation affidavit, and when the attorney submits these documents to the trustee, it is almost certain to bring the case their attention.
