We received a letter today from the trustee stating that we have fulfilled our obligation with our final payment. Letter states that once the final payment is posted it will 6 to 8 weeks until the docket will be filed by court. Ok can anyone explain this. On the trustee website they have posted the last payment.

"docket will be filed by court."? Do you mean that the docket will be updated by the court? The docket is the court's record of everything that has happened in the case. Sounds like your case will be closed in 6 to 8 weeks.LadyInTheRed is in the black!

I don't know what exactly it stands for, but I have a feeling that the A stands for audit. Maybe "Final Review and Audit?" You finished your plan, but the trustee has to audit the case to make sure funds have been disbursed properly and all checks cashed before the case can close.Originally posted by indy4wins View PostHi LadyInRed:
