Didn't have to go to confirmation

OK. So, yesterday, I got a call from our lawyer telling us that everything worked out with our plan and we didn't have to go to confirmation this morning. Is that unusual? Has anyone else had that happen?
Filed 13 on 10/23/2012 -341 on 12/17/2012 (Happy Birthday to me!)
    Confirmed 2/6/2013 (Happy Anniversary!)
I'd be almost done if I hadn't tried the debt settlement program first.

Confirmation is different than the 341 hearing. the 341 is required by law - a confirmation hearing is only necessary if there is a dignificant objection that the creditors/trustee/your lawyer can't work out.

    Sounds like smooth sailing!

It is rare for a debtor to have to go to a confirmation hearing. If there is a hearing, it is usually sufficient for the attorney to attend.

$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!
