    How to login to pacer?

That is a confusing site! How do you login. Do you use you bk number? Which link once you are at the site?
Discharge date: October 2017 (will it ever get here?)

You have to register for pacer. There's a sticky for this. I used my debit card to register.

If you have less than $15 worth of charges for a quarter, they will drop it to zero. If it's $15.00 or higher, they charge you.

Once you're logged in, you have to click on your distict. Texas, for example, has 4 districts.

Once you're there, you have to click on Query on the top left corner. Your case number, given to you by your lawyer, will be what you look your case up by.

Read the sticky - it helped me tremendously.

No need to wait. There is no fee to register. You just have to put your debit card into the system so that if your quarterly charges are above $15, they a card to charge it to.

Please do yourself a favor. Make sure you read the sticky about PACER and then all the threads about PACER addiction! You need to know how to use PACER to your advantage (by not going over $15/quarter)! There are people, myself included, that have spent hundreds of dollars on PACER. It's not a joke, and if you run the wrong query (like searching for a particular attorney or the Trustee), you could spend $8 just on ONE query alone! (Typically a good query would only cost you $0.08. Remember, if you don't go over $15 in a quarter, you don't get billed and the account resets back to $0.)

Please read the sticky and the other threads on PACER.

Hi JB: The fee for printing (i.e. looking at) a single page of your file in PACER has gone up to at least $0.10 a page, if not more by now. It was last year that I looked.

To the OP. Be careful of PACER. It is addicting. One member wracked up several hundred dollars worth of charges on PACER, before filing, that she actually listed it in her petition, and had the charges discharged.

I do NOT recommend that as a course of action. [Just a little bit of disclaimer language there. AC]

                It's still 10 cents a page, AngelinaCat.

Wow, it is $0.10 now. I did not know that! I'm glad that I'm no longer addicted to PACER or I'd need to quit!

You can check Pacer every day and not be charged. Just look up at the top where it says Date of Last Filing. If nothing new has been filed that date doesn't change.

This is very true. However, many users do not know how to use PACER and just start running crazy searches! The search results actually cost money as well.

Yes I realize that. In fact I made the mistake of refreshing the page on one of the documents. You get charged 10 cents every time you refresh.
