Plan Confirmed

I just checked pacer, and my plan was confirmed today, 6/16/06.

Thanks for all the advice and support everyone has given. I have to make it another 58 months of chapter 13 debtors prison, but I feel relieved the battle with the trustee is over.

The creditors still have until 7/11 to file claims against dischargability of debt. This could still happen, but part of me feels that they have already had 70 days to do this but none have, so I hope that is a good sign that they won't.

I would think it unlikely any creditor would challenge now; it would cost them time and money now.

Congratulations! The hardest part for us was the playing around until our plan was confirmed. Other than when the trustee sends an accounting of the $$ he has disbursed, we never hear from him. I have 3 years 10 months remaining and I plan on staying way below the radar. Good Luck!

Our dear friend Citi is gonna see to it that we'll be filing soon. They've started Collections on us. Law suit is just a matter of time now.

Oh yeah, I remember the good old days when I was just a lurker, then got up the nerve to ask a few questions, then was wishing I was those 20 posters that had already got through it, then going through the fear of the 341 meeting, then the objections for deny confirmation a couple of times and now finally confirmed.

Believe me, this board has been a tremendous asset to me. I remember a couple posters put me in my place with some reality checks when I was asking stupid questions, and instead of whining that they were mistreating me, I learned from it.

SF and CH...you all will get through it. My only advice I can give you...JUST DO IT.
