leased car buyout at end of term during 13?

hi, one of my car is coming to end of lease, and my friend want to buy it.

called mercedes financial who was doing the lease, they said i have to get trustee's ok / court approval for this?

something about lifting the stay so they can collect money from me (the payoff amount)...

wonder if anyone has experience with this before i go bug my atty.

Sounds like a transaction that will require trustee or court approval. Call your attorney. You paid him so you can "bug" him about things like this.
