It is good to hear from you, Bkbiker, and I'm glad to hear that the BK nightmare is over for you. I cannot imagine grieving the loss of a loved one during the BK process and then having them taking every last penny.

Best wishes for healing and happiness!

You have truly survived debtor's prison and the inhumanity that accompanies it, bkbiker. We who are still mired in Ch 13 salute you! You are 100% right - it shouldn't matter where you live or who your trustee is.....but of course, it's really all that matters and determines whether you survive Ch 13 or not. I'm so sorry for all your many emotional and financial losses over the last five years and so happy for you that it is finally over and you can start over again. Stop by and keep us posted on how your rebuilding is going, ok? Best of luck to you - you deserve it!

So glad to hear it's all ending for you............ I know your so relieved.......

Life will start changing for you now, and I know its going to be a LOT BETTER.....

Maybe now things will get back to normal for you and yours, whatever normal is?

I kow how you feel about it all, and dealing with it is hard, but it does get better and will now that its all over.

Be proud - YOU ARE ARE SURVIVOR.................... and now its finally over.

Check your credit report, dispute any errors, make a good budget ( should be used to this by now).. and get on with life......

              Congrats, BKBiker!!

I know you've gone to Hell and back.

I'd like to tell you that things will get back to normal, but they won't.

We were chatting outside the Court House yesterday with our attny. He said "December 11th, everything will be back to normal. Well not exactly." And we agreed that nothing will ever be the same again.

We'd been living in a Debtor's Prison of our own creation for years. Not the Court mandated Jail Cell you've occupied. Hopefully our debts will be discharged and we can move forward from here.

Your life has been forever changed and you're headed in a new direction.

              Run, Forest, RUN!!!

              And don't look back!!

                Hi everyone,

Thank you, thank you for all your support and good wishes, I am starting to feel much better, maybe even laughing a few times! I have been sooooooooo serious lately.

Well, today I received my FINAL DECREE and my case is official closed, I am a free man at last to do financial what ever I want.

I’ll check back in on this thread in a few weeks to let everyone know how I am doing emotional and maybe have better insight into this whole bankruptcy process.

                Take care,
