So you had an asset but didn't list it as an asset on your Ch 13 forms? Our lawyer told us that whether an asset is paid for or not doesn't matter. Your lawyer let that go by?I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

In a Ch 13, your assets are under the control of the Trustee the entire time you're in the plan. If you wanna sell the motorcycle, you're gonna have to get approval from the Trustee prior to sale. AND the Trustee is gonna take all proceeds from the sale to distribute to your Creditors.
Basically think of it as your estate is not really yours while you're in Ch 13. You can't just get rid of property/assets without getting permission from the Trustee first.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
Discharged - 12/2006
Officially Declared No Asset - 03/2007
Closed - 04/2007
