Oopsl I meant if I DISMISSED my case

I filed in October of last year. When I initially paid my attorneys fees, I was told by my attorney that I would only have to pay around 17 cents on the dollar, or around 250-300 dollars a month on my plan. After my meeting of creditors, my trustee says that he wants a 100% plan that would be almost one thousand a month.

I dismissed my Bankruptcy, and it was never "converted" Do I still have to report on any future loan applications that I filed? and is "filing for Bankruptcy" and "declaring Bankruptcy" the same thing. The way I see it, one can file, but "declaring" is going through with it, having the bankruptcy converted, etc...

If I change my name, or get a different social security number, etc, do I still have to state that I filed?

It's illegal in the U.S. to have more than one social security number. You'll have a lot more serious problem than whether to state if you filed or not if you try that as a dodge to avoid disclosing your bk.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

A taxID number is for business owners. That's the number that's used for paying other peoples taxes.

Yes, you will need to disclose you have filed bankruptcy. What are you trying to do that this is so detrimental?

If you file and your case is dimissed it should not show up on your credit report because you cancelled it... A bankruptcy is not recorded until it is filed and completed.

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Negative credit on: Instantly, off- months, years, who knows

Yes, it seems that Bad credit appears instantly and tajes forever to get removed. Good credit takes almost as long to appear. It is almost as if the system is stacked against us. I remember when "Fight Club" came out, I almost wore out my player from playing the end scene when the "Big three" Credit reporting agencies went down in a blaze of glory. Of course that was only in a movie. Not that I would want that to happen in real life or anything...
