    Means Test

    Hello everyone! My husband and I are filing a ch 7 next week. We will be using an attorney. Anyways my question is we are under the median income for our state by about $30,000. I did the whole means test online, and for the whole thing it said that we had about $450 disposable income for each month. Now, because of that (even though we are under the median) could they possibly convert us to a ch 13?

    Your attorney will help you sort through this. You are very likely to have missed several key expenses which are often overlooked. I'm sure you will not have $450 of DMI once your attorney goes through everything.

      Thank you so much! I figured that I probably overlooked some things. We meet with the lawyer on Tuesday.
