341 Meeting today...

Honestly, I wasn't nervous until...

My attorney was late, Finally he showed up right at my appointment time but I thought he would have been there early too but no I was worried that he wasn't going to show up

then the trustee began to do his scare tatics...I wasnt ready for that.

So anyways, we got there early, they had chapter 13 in the same courtroom just different rooms for each trustee where they were meeting with debtors.

I had to wait about an hour before they called us, I thought that the trustee was going to be mean because he was in front of everyone.

The trustee went through and asked us the normal questions.
It went quick, and I was like so many others, as I walked out, "that wasnt so bad" The hardest part was waiting and the not knowing.

But it went smooth, My two year old was very good. The trustee even commented how good he was.

I am so happy we are over this hurdle hopefully there will be no more hurdles that we have to jump over.

Now you can add me to the 60 day Club!!

Not sure I understand: First you say the trustee used scare tactics and then you said it went quick and wasn't so bad. Did you have to meet with two trustees?

Congrats, fncbj! The only feeling during bk that's better than today is when you see "discharged and dismissed" on your case! Glad that everything went so smoothly for you - hope the next 60 days fly by!

See what happens is the Trustee(S)(in my case this is how it was set up) Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 spoke in front of everyone first before they call you... So I knew who my trustee was and as he was speaking before he called us, He was saying things like if you have any assets that you are holding back they will find you, etc. etc. He said at one time if your cell phone is on I will tell you to leave and you will come back in two months, etc.

In the place we had to go they took everyones cell phone at the security check point. Put it in little lockers and have us a numbered tag to pick it up afterwards. Not sure if it 9/11 related or if the officials were sick of people talking on cell phones lol.

had my 341 hearing on the 27th and it went well and fast, ten minutes at the most. that was it and i walked out. best of luck to everyone on here and i pray that we all bounce back strong.
