Our 341 was today and we lived to tell the story! Like everyone else has said it was very painless.
To briefly sum it up for those still waiting, there was an outer waiting room with a good 100 people in it and then 2 rooms for the trustees. There were no doors and when it was our lawyers turn all of his clients went in the room together then took turns going up to the table. None of our creditors were there or for anyone else that I saw. There were a couple guys there representing car loans for those who were turning thier cars in.
We had to wait about an hour. The trustee checked our ids, asked very basic questions such as did you sign the petition, did we list all our debts, did we list all our assets, had we ever filed bk before, etc. Then it was thank you, your free to go.
We also signed the car reaffirmation while we were there.
I guess the next hurdle will be seeing what the trustee puts in her report.
