    waiving the filing fee

I'm almost ready to file, had DH sign all the paperwork last night and I am just finishing up crossing the T's and dotting the I's. I'm excited to have a new beginning.

I read on the US court website that to be able to waive the filing fee, you have to fall under the 150% poverty line... How do I find out what the poverty level is? And if we are definitely under that level, do I apply and "assume" that it will be approved? I don't want to get all the way out there and file to be told we weren't approved and have to come up with the money.

How does that work? I know we can also make installments. Thanks!

I do not rember the poverty line link but you can get it on the irs.gov web site fill it out file you case and if you are not approved they will let you pay in payments you wont find out the day of filing it will come in the mail a couple of weks later but you can file with you application pending
Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.

Here are th3 2007 150% of the HHS poverty guidelines for bankruptcy , rilbrianne - http://www.uscourts.gov/bankruptcyco...guidelines.pdf

I don't know how you get the filing fee waived when you file pro se. Hopefully another member may have gone through the process and can describe it to you.

We fall way below the line so I guess it should get approved... I'm going to give it a shot.

Any more information or experiences are still more than welcome
