I claim zero and have extra money taken out of my check so I will not have to pay taxes when they come due. Should I change that so they won't take my income tax check or would that look bad? Thanks for your help! SandT

I did that recently myself...they will want your tax return, I think. I'm not sure if it will look bad, but I don't see why it would. I will pay all taxes due.
This is all my opinion...I have not even retained an attorney yet so I'm pretty ignorant except for what I have learned in this forum.Filed Ch 7 - January 29th, 2008

No, it will not look bad. Adjust your withholdings today - here's the IRS withholding workbook to help you do it - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p919.pdf . Uncle Sam is the worst savings account possible - big refunds mean you allowed the govt to use your money free of charge without any interest for you for an entire year!Originally posted by sickandtired8 View PostI claim zero and have extra money taken out of my check so I will not have to pay taxes when they come due.
