    Free at last...Free at last...Thank God Almighty I am free at last!

    After six months (inwhich I aged about four years,) finally discharged today.

    My lawyer and his staff were never really interested in my case except for the money. They made errors on more then one occassion and had little or no remorse about it.
    They were unprofessional and almost ignorant about a great deal.
    The fact that I researched and helped myself I hope inspires others to be strong as well.
    I even negotiated with a creditor myself and straightened the situation out without my attorneys help!!!!!!!!! (which makes me wish I had filed pro se to begin with)

        I would also add that this forum helped significantly.
        A lot of good people are on here going through what can be a horrific time in one's life.
        Be comforted to know, God does listen, but i believe he expects you to help yourself a bit as well.

            this may sound crazy to some but I prayed over my final documents and anoited with blessing oil before I sent them off to the trustee. For those of you that may not know, blessing oil is the oil that Ministers and Priest usually put on people's head while blessing them. I just prayed to God to protect my case and let us have a smooth discharge and closing. My 341 is coming up in 8 days, which I don't understand why so long because I filed on June 26.

              May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
              July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
              September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

                    Congrats!
                    Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.
