    credit report

after filing, are creditors allowed to keep updating my report as more days past due?
when i first filed, a couple creditors were only reported as 30 days past due. but they keep updating the status to 60 days, then 90 days, 120 days, etc.
my auto loan bank just reported me today to my credit reports as 60 days delinquent, when before i was "current" and in good standing.
is this a violation of the automatic stay?

You can dispute the "late payments"..... notify the credit bureau that you filed BK on such and such date, and that anything after that date is not considered late payments..... and they need to change their records accordingly. They will notify the creditor for accuracy.

After your case is closed, then you can dispute with the creditor that they are reporting wrong, and notify the credit bureau that they are reporting wrong. The creditor has to prove he is right to the credit bureau, or it will be removed.

It should say Included In Bankruptcy and only late pays showing should be actual ones.

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

a couple weeks ago, a creditor updated on my credit report as "included in bk" and the balance was reported $0... as if they discharged the balance.
today, i got a credit report alert... that creditor updated again with the balance reinstated, but still "included in bk"
what is going on? this is making me crazy!

Credit reports are updated regularly and mistakes do happen. Your account should have $0 showing - dispute it if it doesn't disappear by next month.
