Filed this past Monday, but one of my debts was sold off in the meantime

We just filed on Oct 2. Two days later, I get a letter in the mail from some place trying to collect a debt they got from Target. Attorney is sending notice to Target, not this place.
Will my attorney need this letter now, or should I just call them and give them my case #, and attorney info?
    Filed Ch7 - 10/2/07 no asset
    341 Meeting - 10/29/07
Discharge - March 2008 forgot the date

Yes, send the letter to your attorney. He/she will send them a letter stating that the original debt is listed in a bankruptcy and they are violating the stay. Having it in writing and documented by your attorney that they were notified in a timely fashion is the way to go here.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go
