    How late did your trustee file an objection?

    My 341 was October 16th and I'm now 2 weeks away from discharge. I check PACER multiple times a day in fear of a trustee objection because my income is over median. My car and mortgage payments are higher than the standard deductions so I don't have any disposable income. Did any of you get a trustee objection late in the 60 day period after the 341?

    I understand your concern...but first...please DO NOT check pacer multiple times per day, even at 8 cents a page, the bill is going to be greater than you think (PACER defines pages in a non-intuitive fashion). Some of our more neurotic members ( ) have had PACER bills in excess of $200.

    The US Trustee has 60 days to file an objection from the date of the first 341 meeting. Usually, you would have heard something by now, but that is not to say there could be a late objection. Also, when there are problematic cases, at least in districts where the US trustee has a local office, the US trustee will show to the 341 meeting.

      What HHM said...YMMV. When we first filed, our objection came 7 days after the 341. We had to convert, but were able to recently convert back to a 7 and have our 341 tomorrow...we'll see!
      Filed CH7 - 10/13/05;
      341 Meetings: 11/28/05, 3/20/06, 12/4/07 (3d time's a charm!)
      Converted: 2/15/06 (to CH13), 10/15/07 (Back to CH7)
      DISCHARGED: 2/15/08

            Bankruptcy cases in Alabama and North Carolina are not under the jurisdiction of the United States Trustee Program. These two states have a district Bankruptcy Administrator instead.

            Contact information for the Bankruptcy Administrators is available on the federal judiciary's Web site at http://www.uscourts.gov/bankruptcyco...istrators.html.

              It is a rare occurance when a judge will appear at a 341a meeting. The trustee assigned to your case should preside over the meeting. The purpose of the 341a is to allow the Trustee and creditors to examine you. There's no need for a judge to be present.

                I thought the trustee had 30 days and creditors had 60 days.
