Discharged Too!!!
Hi All,
I can't quite believe it, but I checked pacer this morning, and it says I have been discharged! Yea!!!!!!
I just wanted to thank all of you on this forum for the invaluble source of information that you offer those considering bankruptcy, who like me, really didn't know the first thing about it.
Although I didn't post much, I read several times a day, and my attorney was impressed with how organized and informed I was about the whole process, thanks to you all.
To those newbies considering bankruptcy, let me just say to read alot, and make sure you get the right attorney. If I had listened to the first attorney I went to, I would be in a five year chapter 13 plan, instead of a chapter 7 plan, discharging almost $100,000, and I was still able to keep my house, car, and all my stuff!
This forum should be recommended to all bankruptcy filers along with the so called "credit counseling".
