    Have you ever

Okay our 341 meeting was Friday needless to say things didn't go.

Basically we couldn't make it, and though the trustee rescheduled other things happened. Now we are withdrawing our application and having to re-file in January.

Has anyone ever done this and can they look at the first application. Long story big mess...
    Filing January 08.

When a mistake becomes a lesson was it really a mistake?

You don't have to share....but I'm sure we are all very curious to know what was more important than your 341 meeting.

When you refile, that's the fling the court looks at. However, since you voluntarily dismissed your first case (and I assume the court granted the dismissal request), your lawyer will have to petition to extend your automatic stay more than 30 days during the second filing. If you filed pro se (without a lawyer) then you will have to petition the court yourself.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
