    Schedule J Line 9

    Hi:
    On schedule J, Line 9,

    Recreation/clubs/Entertainmant/Newspaper/magazine:
What is an example of acceptable recreation? clubs, ENTERTAINMENT????

    how much is too much???

Also: Line 2, utilities; are cell phones for kids considered expense? I want to be able to be available to them and be able to check them? so, we each have cell phone, also a landline at home? is it ok???

    thanks in advance

The amount that trustees tolerate for Line 9 varies from court to court, even trustee to trustee. Ballpark figure - from what other members here have posted, it seems most trustees will tolerate $25-50/month for recreation/entertainment.

Same answer for the cell phones and a landline. Just depends on your trustee. If you are filing with a laywer, ask your lawyer. That's one of the advantages of using a laywer to file - their familiarity with what each trustee typically allows.

You can figure this out for yourself if you don't mind a PACER bill looking up other cases that have filed in your local court to see what they listed for these expenses.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
