Sounds like you had a life-changing event that changed your income. This is common and this is a big reason why people file bk. So in short - it is normal and I wouldn't worry.
From what I've read, the trustee cares more about whether you might be hiding any assets, or transfer of assets knowing you are going to file bk.Filed Chapter 7 Pro-Se May 29, 2008

Note it all depends on what state you live in or your trustee - while some folks only have to provide 6 months worth of statements, others, like ourselves, had to provide one year and had to provide descriptions of each deposit over $1,000 and every check written or withdrawal out of the account in excess of $500 for that one year period. Just be honest and open with your attorney about the situation and he/she will guide you accordingly._________________________________________

Chances are you will not have to provide bank statements at all. I did not and many do not.
Sometimes your attorney wants to see them but the trustee does not.
Unless you are audited for some reason the trustee is unlikely to ask to see them, and I doubt you will be audited. Even if you are audited by the UST (we were) the Trustee may not decide to look any further into it, just ask a few questions.
I wouldn't worry about it.
Since you have nothing to hide, don't worry. Chances are no one will look into your bank statements and if they do, you will just deal with it as best you can at that time.
Don't worry.<<I am NOT an attorney, my comments are anecdotal only. Contact an attorney for advice>>
