I turn in all my forms to my attorney early next week. So far so good. Have everything I need for C7. Tough to think where you wanted to be and where you are now. Have nothing. I have not had a bank account in years. Like the earlier post, clothes is all I have. Broken job offers, past gambling, all left me with nothing. I'm to blame, for that I will be. I'm sorry for the hurt I caused to others and myself. I keep telling myself that I will be ok, I hope that is the case. I will get myself out of this for the better, just like I hope you all will.

Chin up. You'll find that BK is the absolutely best thing you can do for yourself. You will survive and prosper! The months and years leading up to my BL were so depressing....I'm now happier than I ever was during that stage of my life. Things WILL get better for you. It's difficult for you now, but there is an end in sight and you won't believe how good you will feel.

Write it down and tape it on the mirror so you can read it every day. And then go find a used book sale and pick up a copy of the book. It is a great read!

Since making the decision BK was our only option, the relief we both felt is unbelievable. Being nervous about the BK is normal, but knowing eventually all this will be behind us, that cc will no longer control our lives, it the most wonderful feeling. We are taking back our lives, and that's going to get us threw this. We have a long way to go, we haven't even filed, just filled out the paper work. But having spent so much time on this forum, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. We'll make it, and someday, like everything bad in life, it will just seem like a bad dream.

This morning seemed like a script from a movie. I wake up and I read my horoscope (which I hardly ever do) and it mentions that I will be going through financial difficulty and there will be someone to tend to my needs. I leave to meet with my attorney. I meet him and he goes over my paperwork and everything he needs is in order. He will be in contact with me in the next 1-2 weeks. If all goes as planned, file C7 mid April. As I get into my car, the sound of Derek and the Dominos (Clapton instrumental - "Layla") starts to play. Feels like the movie "Goodfellas." I almost shed a tear from the frustration, but I do not. I feel it will be clear sailing in do time for me. Lesson learned, time to live life for the better. Thank you all and I will keep you updated.
