    one last question, i hope

hi all, me again I think this may be, hopefully, my last batch of questions before filing...

What is the best way to find the list of debtors i currently owe? I have lost track of who accounts belong to who now and their respective numbers... is the credit report the only way? What if a debt that i believe i have is not listed on it?

Also, do you guys think this is odd? Chase is hounding me for the 6k credit card i had, but chase/bank of america hasn't made a peep on the 15k loan i had with them, and it's been closer to a year since i stopped paying that. i got the loan right before BoA changed over to Chase, is it remotely possible they forgot about me?

Pull your credit report. You can get it for free from annualcreditreport.com if you haven't gotten one from each of the three reporting agencies within the last year. Ensure everybody on it gets included, and also include any debts you have that aren't listed.

My attorney pulled a report for me too and filled them all in on my filing paperwork. I just had to add a few that weren't listed.

Your credit report should show you whatever you wanted to know about your loan, too. Just because they haven't called doesn't mean they don't know about it. With a bank that big, credit cards and loans are separate companies under the big corporate umbrella and probably don't have all that much to do with each other. Anyway, see what your credit report has to say about it.

As PD said, pull your free credit reports from all three credit agencies. Also if you kept financial records, go back through those records (checkbook registers, cc statements, etc) looking for things you might overlook.

Tell your lawyer about it and have it added to your forms. Do a Google search to get a mailing address. If you don't know the amount you might owe, then make a best guess. The important thing is to list every debt you think you have when you file.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

ok, i gotcha, thanks for the replies.. one other thing. I am able to trade in my car, possibly this week. They can put me into a Ford Escape. I had always kept up on my car payments, and fully intend to keep payments up on the trade in deal. Do I have to wait 3 months before filing at that point? Or is it ok, since i intend to reaffirm that debt anyway?

You might want to wait and do the trade in after the bk. You don't want to be sitting on a car with to much equity in it.
